Cleaning and Disinfecting
Be sure to observe all local hygiene and processing regulations.
NOTICE
Never allow liquids to enter the unit through its openings (e.g. the SMAplus socket).
For this reason, never use sprays for cleaning!

The Limax
120 must not be sterilized!
Always disconnect the unit from the power supply before cleaning and disinfecting it.
Never allow liquids to enter the unit during the cleaning and disinfecting process.
Never use scouring agents, disinfectants or solvents that might scratch the housing or
damage the unit in other ways.
Surface cleaning and disinfection must be carried out either in accordance with the
recommended procedure or according to a nationally recognized and approved method.
Before using the laser again after cleaning, make sure that all cleaner and disinfectant residues
have been completely removed from the unit's surfaces.
Disinfection of Accessories
When disinfecting accessories, be sure to observe the product-specific Instructions for Use.
CAUTION
Soiled lenses tend to absorb laser light! This could reduce the effectiveness of the laser
application and damage or even destroy the optical system itself.
Optics and optical application components must always be checked for proper functioning
(light transmission) prior to using them with the Limax
for this purpose.
