NOTICE
The PILOT and LASER READY buttons are blocked during laser light emission.
All other buttons can be operated also during laser activation.
Pressing the STANDBY button switches the laser from LASER READY mode (yellow LED) to
STANDBY mode (green LED).
The rotary switch is set inactive during laser light emission. It is not possible to change
parameter settings during laser activation.

Rotary Switch with Backlighting

All settings on the Limax
both rotated and operated axially (double-function pushbutton). It is inactive after starting the

Limax
120 and must be pressed axially for activation. To inform users at a glance to which
function the switch has currently been assigned (and which settings can therefore be adjusted
with it), the switch features a luminous ring that can have four different light statuses:

LASER READY button (yellow LED)
Pressing this button switches the unit to LASER READY
(yellow LED), provided a suitable laser fiber has been
connected. The pilot laser is activated automatically in this
state.
PILOT button (yellow LED)
Pressing this button activates the pilot laser (aiming beam)
in STANDBY mode, provided a laser fiber has been
connected.
Switching off the pilot laser in LASER READY mode switches
the unit to STANDBY mode (laser not ready for operation).
AIR button (blue LED)
Pressing this button switches the airflow (Flow) on or off. If
the current program includes parameter settings for the
smoke-clearing compressed air flow, these will be
automatically activated with the program.
If no airflow parameters are stored in the current program
and the AIR function is used nonetheless, default settings
will be used (see also section 6.14.3 "STOP Indicator",
page 38).
