Mains Connector Socket with Cooling System Fuses

Socket for connecting the foot switch (Fig. 5.4, (8)) for
laser activation. See section 6.10 "Foot Switch", page 51
for a functional description.
Position the foot switch next to the surgical site in such a
way that the user can easily reach it with his / her foot,
then plug the connecting cable with the black connector
into the foot switch connecting socket (guide lug must
point upwards).
To remove the cable, grasp the plug housing and pull to
unlock the connector. Do not pull at the cable!
The line voltage range is 230 – 240 V, 50 / 60 Hz.
The socket assembly includes two fuses rated T 16 A H,
500 V (slow-blow) for the cooling system.
Use the mains cable supplied with the product to connect
this socket (located on the rear panel) to a separately
fused power supply including a protective conductor
(fuse rating: 16 A).
Do not use a splitting box! Do not use an extension
cord!
U-version mains cables may only be repaired or replaced
by the Service of Gebrüder Martin GmbH & Co. KG.
The mains connector socket of the U version has a
non-detachable power supply cable. It is suitable for a
supply voltage of 110 – 230 V, 50 / 60 Hz.
The socket assembly includes two fuses rated T 16 A
(slow blow) for the cooling system.
The mains cable must be connected to a separately fused
power supply of the in-house network.
Do not use a splitting box! Do not use an extension
cord!
