Clean the housing using a soft, moist cloth. Do not use solvents, spirit, thinners, etc.; you could
damage the surface of the device.
Only clean the display with a soft, cotton cloth. If required, use a cotton cloth with small amounts of
non-alkaline, diluted, water or alcohol-based soap solution.
Use the cotton cloth to gently rub the surface until it is completely dry.

12 Troubleshooting

If the device does not operate as intended, check the following tables for information.
Symptom
The device cannot be switched on.
No sound can be heard.
The display does not switch on.
Poor DAB/FM reception.
The device cannot be operated.
If the malfunction has not been resolved, even after performing the checks described, please contact the
Technical Hotline (for further information see Seite 17).

Possible cause/remedy
The device is not being supplied with power. Connect the power
supply unit correctly to the socket and to the device. Insert new
batteries.
Increase the volume.
Switch off the device using On/Standby, switch back on again.
Extend the antenna. Change the position of the antenna or the
DigitRadio.
Disconnect the device from the power supply for a minute.
