Irregular darkening dimming.

Auto-Darkening filter does not
darken or flickers.

If the above troubleshooting recommendations do not resolve the problem, do not use the Auto-Darkening Welding Helmet.

CAUSE
A.
Headband has been set unevenly
and there is an uneven distance
from the eyes to the filter lens.
A.
Front cover lens is soiled or
damaged.
B.
Sensors are soiled.
Welding current is too low.
C.
A.
Operating temperature is too low.
A.
Front/inside cover lens and/or the
filter are soiled.
B.
There is insufficient ambient light.
Shade number is incorrectly set.
C.
A.
Headband is not properly
adjusted.

A.
Reset the headband to reduce the
difference to the filter
A.
Clean Cover Lens with a soft cloth.
Replace if necessary.
B.
Clean the sensors surface.
Adjust the sensitivity level to higher.

Check battery and verify they are in

good condition and installed properly.
Also, check battery surfaces and
contacts and clean if necessary.

Do not use at temperatures below
-10º C.

Change lens.
