Introduction

The ELAN VSOS High Power Stereo Volume Control w/
Override is a twelve-step stereo Volume Control with Variable
Impedance Match settings. The VMOS is a High Power mono
Volume control w/ Override conforming to the same specifi ca-
tions (except stereo capability). This Volume Control is designed
to connect speakers to amplifi ers with power ratings up to 100
Watts RMS. Based on proven technology, the VSOS/VMOS
provides a perfect solution when using multiple speakers in high
powered multi-room applications or when basic volume func-
tions are needed with a receiver or amplifi er.

• PTC-Thermal Protection Circuit: When the PTC detects
problems such as, too much power crossed speaker wiring, or
improper impedance, the circuit will open, protecting the volume
control. When the problem has been corrected, the circuit will
close and resume operation.
