Because ActiveSync is already installed on your mobile device, the synchronization process

begins automatically when, using the HX3 ActiveSync cable, you connect your mobile device to a

laptop/desktop computer. See Accessories for cables.

Insert the HX3 cable end into the cradle connector on the bottom of the HX3 until a click is heard.

Insert the USB-A end in a USB port on a desktop/laptop computer.

Optional Equipment

The ActiveSync cable for the HX3 does not appear to fit tightly with the cradle connector

(see Figure). This is normal.
