10. FINAL CHECKS
a) Is the baseplate leveled?
b) Check Foundation Bolts?
c) Check the tightness of all bolts in the suction and discharge pipework.
d) Piping Installed - Correct Vent, Gauge, Valve, Suction Strainer Locations?
e) All Flange Bolting Correctly Torqued with appropriate gaskets in place?
f) After connecting piping to the pump, rotate the shaft several times by hand to ensure there is no
binding and all parts are free.
g) Recheck the coupling alignment, as previously described, to ensure no strain on coupling is due to
pipe. If pipe strain exists, correct piping.
h) Coupling guard correctly installed?
