    PUMP OPERATING MODES The IntelliFlo VSF Variable Speed and Flow Pump can be programmed in three different modes: ® Programs 1-4 can be programmed in all three modes. Programs 5-8 can only be programmed in Schedule mode since there are no buttons on the control panel for Programs 5-8.

    Priming the pump for the first time, or after service The IntelliFlo must be primed before starting the pump for the first time. To prime a pump means filling the ® pump and suction pipe with water. This process evacuates the air from all the suction lines and the pump. It may take several minutes to prime depending on the depth of water, pipe size and length.

    Priming the Pump NOTICE: If you replace the o-ring with a non-lubricated o-ring, you may need to apply a silicone based lubricant. • Clean and inspect o-ring; reinstall on trap cover. • Replace trap cover on trap; turn clockwise to tighten cover.   • Page 40 Befüllen der Pumpe für die Erstinbetriebnahme oder nach einer Wartung Die IntelliFlo®-Pumpe muss vorgefüllt werden, bevor sie erstmalig in Betrieb genommen wird. Eine Pumpe vorfüllen heißt, die Pumpe und die Saugleitung mit Wasser füllen. Dadurch wird die Luft aus allen Saugleitungen und aus der Pumpe entfernt.

    Vorfüllen der Pumpe HINWEIS: Wenn Sie den O-Ring durch einen nicht gefetteten O-Ring ersetzen, müssen Sie eventuell Fett auf Silikonbasis auftragen. • O-Ring reinigen und prüfen und wieder in den Abscheiderdeckel einlegen. • Deckel wieder auf den Abscheider montieren; Deckel im Uhrzeigersinn festdrehen. HINWEIS: Pumpendeckel nur von Hand festdrehen (ohne Schlüssel).

Questa operazione consiste nel riempire d’acqua la pompa e il tubo di aspirazione. L’adescamento libera dall’aria le tubature di aspirazione e la pompa.

    Adescamento della pompa AVVERTENZA: In caso di sostituzione dell’O-ring con un O-ring senza lubrificante, potrebbe essere necessaria l’applicazione di un lubrificante a base di silicone. • Pulire e controllare l’O-ring; reinstallarlo nel coperchio del trattenitore. • Sostituire il coperchio sul trattenitore; girare in senso orario per serrare il coperchio. AVVERTENZA: Stringere sempre il coperchio della pompa con le mani (non usare chiavi inglesi).
