Inserting/Exchanging Gobos - Future light PLB-15R User Manual

Procedure:
Step 1: Unscrew the fixation screws A, B and C of the lamp system and carefully remove the lamp
system from the housing.
Step 2: If replacing the lamp, remove the old lamp from the lamp holder. First of all, carefully detach the
two connection wires from the lamp base. Then grip the lamp at the ceramic base and gently
maneuver it downward (along the arrowhead, as shown on the lamp cover) until you feel the
lamp loosening. Carefully remove the lamp from the lampholder.
Step 3: Carefully insert the new lamp into the lower retaining tabs of the lamp holder. Grip the lamp at the
ceramic base and gently maneuver it downward (along the arrowhead, as shown on the lamp
cover). Insert the new lamp into the upper retaining tabs of the lamp holder. Carefully attach the
two connection wires onto the lamp base Please make sure that the new lamp is in the same
position as the old lamp before closing the device.
Step 4: Replace the lamp system in the housing and tighten the fixation screws.
Step 5: Reset the operating hours of the lamp in order to remove the flashing lamp warning in the display
(see chapter Control Board).
Attention: Please note, the MSD Platinum 15R lamp is not a hot-restrike type. You must wait
approximately 10 minutes before you can attempt to strike the lamp once it has been turned off!

Inserting/Exchanging gobos

If you wish to use other forms and patterns as the standard-gobos, or if gobos are to be exchanged, please
follow the instructions below:
Do not operate this device with opened cover!
DANGER!
Install the gobos with the device switched off only.
Unplug from mains before!
CAUTION!
Never unscrew the screws of the rotating gobo
as the ball bearing will otherwise be opened!
