4.1 Tools required for the individual testing and
adjustment procedures
Note: Prior to delivery the device is completely adjusted and tested by KARL STORZ. Re-adjustment
should only be carried out by fully-qualified technical staff authorized by KARL STORZ.
Note: The results of the various tests should be recorded in a test report, see Chapter 7. Appendix.
The manufacturer's instructions detailed below for carrying out a safety inspection of the AUTOCON
400 are applicable to the following versions:

KARL STORZ recommends the following measuring and test equipment for conducting safe ty checks on
the AUTOCON ® II 400:
– Bender Unimet 1100 safety tester
– Metron QA-ES MKII HF power meter
– Test adapter KARL STORZ-SCB
– AUTOCON ® II 400 test equipment
– Digital multimeter
– Dual-pedal footswitch
