Machen Sie sich vor der ersten Anwendung des
Gerätes am Patienten unbedingt mit der
Funktionsweise und Bedienung des Gerätes ver-
traut.
Bestimmungsgemäße
Verwendung
Das AUTOCON ® II 400 ist ein Hochfrequenz-
Chirurgiegerät für monopolares und bipolares
Schneiden und Koagulieren.
Das AUTOCON ® II 400 darf nur mit Zubehör ver-
wendet werden, das von KARL STORZ als für
das Gerät geeignet bezeichnet wird oder des-
sen sicherheitstechnisch unbedenkliche
Verwendungsfähigkeit nachgewiesen ist.
Eigenmächtige Umbauten oder Veränderungen
des Gerätes sind aus Sicherheitsgründen unter-
sagt.

Qualifikation des Anwenders

Das AUTOCON ® II 400 darf nur von Ärzten und
medizinischem Assistenzpersonal angewendet
werden, die über eine entsprechende fachliche
Qualifikation verfügen und am Gerät eingewie-
sen sind. Die Einweisung darf nur durch solche
Personen erfolgen, die aufgrund ihrer
Kenntnisse dazu geeignet sind.
Die zuständige Gebietsvertretung oder der
zuständiger KARL STORZ Vertreter steht für die
Einweisung bei Ihnen zur Verfügung.

Patientenprofil

Die Anwendung des AUTOCON ® II 400 ist nicht
auf ein gewisses Patientenprofil (Geschlecht,
Alter, Gewicht etc.) beschränkt. Der
Gesundheitszustand für die jeweilige
Anwendung ist vom behandelden Arzt zu
beurteilen und für geeignet zu erklären.
Safety instructions
Before using the unit on the patient for the first
time it is imperative that you be acquainted with
how the unit operates and is controlled.

Intended use

The AUTOCON ® II 400 is a high frequency surgi-
cal unit for monopolar and bipolar cutting and
coagulation with suitable instruments.
The AUTOCON ® II 400 may only be used with
accessories which have been designated by
KARL STORZ as suitable for the unit or the safe
use of which is proven.
Unauthorized conversions or modifications to the
unit are not allowed for safety reasons.

User qualification

The AUTOCON ® II 400 may only be used by
physicians and medical assistants who have a
corresponding specialized qualification and who
have been instructed in the use of the instru-
ment. Such instruction should only be provided
by persons equipped to do so on the basis of
their skills.
Your local representative or responsible
KARL STORZ member of staff is available to
provide training on your premises.

Patient profile

The use of AUTOCON ® II 400 is not limited to a
certain patient profile (sex, age, weight etc.).
The attending physician must assess a patient's
health for the relevant application and declare it
suitable.

aparato antes de su primera utilización en el

Empleo previsto
El AUTOCON ® II 400 es un aparato quirúrgico
de alta frecuencia para corte y coagulación
monopolares y bipolares.
El AUTOCON ® II 400 sólo debe utilizarse con
accesorios que hayan sido considerados por
KARL STORZ como adecuados para el aparato,
o cuya seguridad técnica haya sido probada.
Por razones de seguridad, está prohibido efec-
tuar reformas o cambios arbitrarios en el aparato.
Calificación del usuario
El AUTOCON ® II 400 sólo puede ser empleado
por médicos y personal de asistencia médica
que dispongan de una cualificación profesional
adecuada y que hayan recibido instrucciones
sobre la utilización del aparato. La instrucción
en el manejo debe ser realizada por personas
capacitadas para ello.
Su representante local o el responsable corres-
pondiente de KARL STORZ le proporcionará
gustosamente información pormenorizada al
respecto.
Perfil del paciente
La aplicación del AUTOCON ® II 400 no está limi-
tada a pacientes que presenten un perfil deter-
minado (sexo, edad, peso, etc.). El médico
encargado del tratamiento deberá evaluar el
estado de salud del paciente para determinar si
el mismo es adecuado para la aplicación.
