General Start-Up
Inspection of the I.I. support
•
Remove both covers from the image intensifier (
•
Check the image intensifier support for damage.
•
Replace the image intensifier if defects are found.
•
Reattach the covers if no defects are found.
Line Voltage and Internal Line Impedance
CAUTION
•
Remove the cover from the knife fuses F1, F2 and F3 in M16 of the generator and
remove the fuses using the special gripper.
•
Connect a multimeter between two of the phases at the lower connections of the fuse
holders for F1, F2 and F3 (X2169-11, POLYDOROS LX / X2206-10, POLYDOROS SX).
•
Switch the system breaker ON.
•
Use the multimeter to measure the voltage, phase to phase, consecutively.

•
Record the voltage measured in the Multiline test report.
•
Switch the system breaker OFF.
•
Measure the internal line impedance at M16.L1, L2, L3 using the internal line impedance
meter (phase-to-phase) as follows:
•
Connect the internal line impedance meter between 2 phases respectively of L1, L2 and
L3.
•
Switch the system breaker ON.
•
Perform the measurement.

The LITHOSTAR Multiline system can be operated only at a line
voltage of 400 V ± 10% and 50/60 Hz. A system pretransformer
must be used for all other line voltages.
