•
Select ECG triggering via the Operating PC.
Refer to the LITHOSTAR Multiline operating instructions.
•
Release shock waves and check their synchronization to the pulse rate.
NOTE
•
Deselect ECG triggering.
Respiratory Triggering
•
Connect the respiration belt to the unit.
•
Select respiratory triggering at the Operating PC.
•
Simulate respiration.
•
Wait for the learning phase to take place, i.e., several respiration cycles.
•
Release shock waves and check their synchronization to the respiration rate.
NOTE
•
Repeat the test with the second connection.
Respiratory and ECG triggering
•
Set up triggering for both as described above and select both at the same time.
Release shock waves and check their synchronization to the pulse and respiration rates
(refer above).
Diamentor
•
The Diamentor is calibrated at the factory.
•
Checking procedures and recalibration are described in the instructions accompanying
the Diamentor.
DICOM Connect
•
Perform the start-up for DICOM Connect according to the instructions RXL2-120.814.02.

sure is on. ECG electrodes are attached to the patient.
Normally, each ECG pulse triggers a shock wave. At higher pulse
rates, only every other pulse triggers a shock wave.
Several shock waves are triggered in each expiration phase.
DICOM can be installed in the LITHOSTAR Multiline only if the
MULTISPOT is not installed.
