Humidifying Filters
Replace about every 10 years*
• Replacement timing depends on usage patterns and the location of the unit.
Standard replacement time is about 10 years assuming that the fi lters are used 8 hours per day, 6 months per year, and
are cleaned periodically. Replace the humidifying fi lters if dirt/stains cannot be removed or there is a reduction in
humidifying capacity (water usage rate).
1.
Remove the humidifying fi lter.
• If the frame (upper half) is impacted, the water scoop
on the back side may detach.
Humidifi cation performance will deteriorate if the unit
is operated with the water scoop detached.
• Attach in accordance with the illustration.
2.
Attach the new humidifying fi lter to the frame (lower half).
(Both humidifying fi lters have a front and back.)
• Align the protrusions (12 places) on frame with the holes in fi lter. (Water leakage may result if not correctly attached.)
3.
Attach the frame (upper half) and axle.
1 Engage the hooks (6 places) on the frame.
2 Insert the axle and turn it to the right while pushing until a catching sound is heard.
• Refer to "Separately Sold Parts".

weaving pattern facing toward you
Make sure the striped weaving pattern
is facing upward.
