Dual-Line Air Activated Brakes

This system requires a tractor with an air compressor and an air brake system with two outlets for trailer brakes.
Connection
1. Flip the snap coupler protection flaps away.
2. Connect the two snap couplers for the supply line (red) and control line (yellow) to the tractor outlets. The couplers
are colour coded and secured against incorrect attachment.
When attached, the black button (A) will enter driving mode, and thereby have no function.
3. Let the air compressor fill the sprayers brake air reservoir.
4. Check brake circuits for leaks.
Manual Control of Brakes
The braking system can be manually controlled with the black and red
operation buttons, placed at the front side of the platform.
A decal is placed between the buttons to indicate their function, as
described:
Disconnect Air Hoses
When disconnecting the air hoses from the tractor, the brake relieve
valve (A) is pushed out and the brakes will be fully engaged.
Moving Sprayer
It is possible to move the sprayer, when it is not coupled to the tractor,
by pushing the relieve valve (A) in, to disengage the brakes.
Black button (A):
• Pulled out = brakes engaged.
• Pushed in = brakes disengaged.
When parking the sprayer after it has been moved, without being
coupled to a tractor, the parking brake valve must be pulled out to engage the parking brake.
Red button (B):
• Pull out to engage the parking brake.
• Push in disengage the parking brake.
μ
ATTENTION! When driving with the sprayer, both buttons must be pushed in.
μ
ATTENTION! When parking the sprayer, always engage the air parking brake. When engaged the air brakes can only
be disengaged as long as there is air in the tank! Cover the couplings with the dust flaps, when hoses are
disconnected.
