Terms

The following terms are shown on the display or used in
this instruction manual.
• R-TOTAL: Resettable Total
Shows the cumulative amount dispensed in all
modes. Can be reset to zero.
• TOTAL: Non–resettable Total
Shows the cumulative amount dispensed in all
modes for the life of the unit. Can not be reset.
• Manual Mode
Dispense mode display counts up from zero to
show the dispensed amount. In this mode, the trig-
ger may be locked, but it must be manually
unlocked when the desired amount is dispensed.
Memory setting also unlocks the trigger.
• Auto Mode
Dispense mode dispenses a preset, user–entered
amount. When the preset amount is dispensed, the
trigger unlocks to stop the unit from dispensing,
and the amount dispensed is displayed. Further
dispensing is allowed by pulling back the trigger,
and the display resumes counting.
• Asleep / Awake Mode
Asleep is a battery–saving mode where the display
goes blank after 45 seconds of inactivity. The dis-
play comes Awake when any button is pressed or
when the trigger is squeezed to dispense fluid.

• Manual / Reset*
Use to select Manual Mode dispensing. The first
push selects the mode, and the second push resets
the display to zero.
• Auto / Reset*
Use to select Auto Mode dispensing. The first push
selects the mode, and the second push resets the
display to zero.
* Press Manual / Reset and
Auto / Reset buttons simul-
taneously to display the
Setup Menus (page 12).
• Total
Use in any mode to see the
resettable total and the non–resettable total.
• 10, 1.0, and 0.1
Use in Auto Mode and during setup to enter dis-
pense amounts.
NOTE: All buttons are disabled while fluid is being
dispensed.
