Mounting the winch on the mounting plate

Preparation

1. Connect the winch to the vehicle with the anchor strap. Fasten the shackles in the strap ends and
lock them in the mounting plate. Fasten the anchor strap in the vehicle chassis.
2. Disengage the winch and pull out the wire. Put the anchor strap round the anchor point and hook
the hook in the eyes in both ends of the anchor strap.
3. Connect the winch to the vehicle battery and press the IN button on the remote control to activate
the winch and stretch the wire. Check that the vehicle does not move.
NOTE: Start the engine, put it out of gear and let the engine idle. Failure to do this can result in a flat
battery, so that it will not be possible to start the vehicle.
NOTE: The angle α between the winch strap parts must be greater than 0°. The hook is hooked in the
eyes in both ends of the anchor strap.
