To Detach and Attach the Foot Holder

To Detach
Remove the thumb screw by turning
the screw counter- clockwise with
the screwdriver.

Persser Foot Lifter

The presser foot lifter raises and lowers the presser
foot. You can raise it 0.6 cm (1/4") higher than the
normal up position for easy insertion of the thick
fabric.
To Attach
Align the hole in the foot holder with the
threaded hole in the presser bar and fit the foot
holder screw into the hole. Tighten the screw by
turning it clockwise.

Reverse Stitch Button

As long as you keep the reverse stitch
button depressed, the machine sews
backwards.

Seam Guide Line

The seam guides on the needle plate and hook cover
plate help you measure seam width.
The number indicates the distance between the center
needle position and the line.
