Adjusting Stretch Stitch Balance

The sewing results of the stretch
patterns may vary depending on
the sewing condition, such as
sewing speed, type of the fabric,
number of layers etc.
Always make a test sewing on a
scrap piece of the fabric that you
wish to use.
Note: In normal sewing, set the
feed balance dial to the neutral
position, i.e. the groove on the dial
is centered with the standard
setting mark ( ).

Patch Work

Seam two layers of the fabric with the
right side together. Open the fabric
and sew the pattern over the seam
line on the right side of the fabric.
When patterns are compressed,
correct by turning the dial in the
+
direction of ´´
´´ .
When patterns are drawn out,
correct by turning the dial in the
direction of ´´
´´ .
