Pin Tucking

Fold the fabric with wrong sides
together on the foldline.

Shell Tuck

Fold the fabric at bias.
Note: You may need to adjust the
thread tension to achieve the best
results.
Position the fabric so that the needle
pierces 0.1 to 0.2cm(1/16´´) inside of
folded part and lower the presser foot.
Turn the guide screw and move the
sliding guide next to the folded edge.
Sew guiding the folded edge along
the sliding guide.
Press the pin tucks to one side.
Sew along fold the folded edge so that the
needle just clears the fold when it comes to the
extreme right position.
If you sew rows of shell tucks, space the rows
at least 1.5 cm (5/8") apart.
Open the fabic and press the tucks to one side.
