Pressure adjusting lever : 2

Fagoting

Fold under 1.5 cm (1/2´´) on each
fabric edge and press.
Pin the two edges to a piece of paper
0.3 cm (1 /8´´) apart.
Sew slowly guiding the fabric so the
needle catches the folded edge on
each side.
Peel away the paper after finishing.

Applique

Baste or glue applique pieces on the
fabric.
Stitch around the applique making sure the
needle falls along the outer edge of the
applique.
When turning corners, lower the needle
down into the outer edge of the applique.
Raise the presser foot and pivot the fabric
to the right or left.
* When applique sewing is finished,
return the pressure adjusting lever
to 3.
