adaptor or limiter may be used for proper adjustment of the flow rate and direction.
Regular check of the STB and, level switch if equipped, is requirement for safety. Refer to 4.2 for
detailed procedures.
The first time powering up after repairing or standstill for long period, or at 6 months intervals
under normal use, check the functionality of the following parts or components:
Cutout capability of the safety temperature limiter (STB)!
Low level cut-out if equipped!
2.2.5 Accessory cooling coil (Optional)
For immersion heating bath (GP series) and circulators completed with open bath tank, the
minimum operating temperature of the equipment is limited to 5-10 °C above ambient
temperature, dependent on the pump pressure and flow rate, as well as the immersed
specimen or connected application system. For operating temperature close to or below
ambient, cooling coil is recommended to extend the temperature range and optional
accessory.
2.2.6 Put into operation
Use non-flammable heat transfer liquid only!
Fill the bath tank with applicable heat transfer liquid to a level appropriate for operation. Keep in
mind that the level may change with the heating and cooling of the equipment, and
immersion and removal of the specimen.
If an application system is connected, additional liquid may be necessary for appropriate level
once initiated.
