Option 'Erase Data'
With this option it is possible to erase the memory of the VIBRA. It is strongly recommended to upload the
stored data to a PC or laptop, before a new measurement is started. Next, the memory of the VIBRA can
be cleared by means of the option Erase Data of the VIBRA.
Select in the main menu of the VIBRA the option Erase Data and activate with the
-key OK. The VIBRA
verifies directly whether all data have been uploaded to a computer through the USB communication link.
In case no data or not all the data has been uploaded to a computer, a warning will be displayed on
screen:
With the
-key ESC you can return to the main menu to export data. By pressing the OK-key data will be
permanently erased from the memory of the VIBRA.
Once all data has been cleared from the memory, the main menu will appear on screen. Data has been
cleared from the memory. You can verify this by checking the memory indicator right at the bottom of the
screen, which should be empty.

Option 'Test Alarm'
An external alarm beacon can be attached to the VIBRA via the USB port. To test an alarm beacon
-key OK. The display colours of the VIBRA will be
attached to the VIBRA, select this option and press
inverted, showing the text Alarm Test and simultaneously one of the pins in the USB socket will be
activated; the alarm beacon should start to blink. If not, check the cable and the cable connections and/or
replace the 2 D-size alkaline batteries. In case the batteries are low, the beacon will blink 10 times faster
than normally.
Press
-key to return to the main menu.
