Days (Vibra + -Option) - Profound VIBRA Series Manual

You should be aware of the following:
When an on/off time has been set and the VIBRA has been switched on, the VIBRA will switch off
automatically at the off-time.
When the VIBRA has automatically switched itself off, it will not be immediately clear to you whether
the VIBRA is "sleeping" (On/Off option) or that somebody has switched off the VIBRA manually.
When the VIBRA has automatically switched itself off, you can resume the measurement manually by
pressing the <ON>-key. The On/Off option remains effective.
When the VIBRA has been manually switched off, the On/Off Time option will not be effective. In other
words: when the VIBRA has been switched off manually, it remains off irrespective any settings of the
VIBRA. You will get a warning if the system is switched off manually and you will be offered the option
to activate the set on/off time. See also paragraph 4.2.5.
When the On-time is equal to the Off-time, the VIBRA will automatically go to Always ON and measure
24 hours per day.
Data reduction (3/4)
This is the third option you have in order to achieve data reduction. This option and the next option Days
enable you to switch off the VIBRA automatically at a selected time and switch it back on again
(automatically) at another selected time. With this option it is possible to carry out the vibration
measurements only during those hours that are regarded as being important. In case vibration monitoring
is carried out in the vicinity of pile driving, vibratory driving, demolition works, etc., it is reasonable to
assume that these activities only take place during daytime. With the On/Off Time option the VIBRA can be
instructed to switch off during the night.
For example, if the system is switched on between 6:00 and 18:00, the lifetime of the batteries is doubled.
5.3.10 Days (VIBRA
With the VIBRA +
the system can be set to measure during pre-selected weekdays. Select with the / -
keys Days, then press the
Default the system measures daily. With the arrow keys you can turn off measuring during specific
weekdays, (setting Off instead of On), for example during the weekend.
Data reduction (4/4)
This is the last option to reduce the amount of measuring data. With this option and the On/Off option, as
described in paragraph 5.3.7, the VIBRA
