ADJUSTMENTS

MAIN APRON
apron adjustment bolts are located at the rear of the forage box . Two are located at
Four main feeder
the center of the box and are accessible from below the frame . Left hand tightener bolt is located in
panel behind drive shield at left hand corner of box . Right hand tightener and bolt is located in panel
at right rear of corner of box .
All apron chains must be taken up evenly before you use the forage box .Check again after the first few
loads . The Main Feeder Aprons should be at proper tension at all times .Tighten the full threaded bolts
(A) to adjust aprons to approximately .With the 1st apron slat at the rear of the box, the 2nd cross slat
inside the box going forward should be able to raise approximately 1" off the floor as shown in the
picture at the bottom of the page . When the proper adjustment is reached, replace the hair pin clip in
the bolt head . Maintain this tension when operating the box
