(2) Attaching the templates

Machine the upper and lower templates based on
the design.
1)
Put the upper template on the lower template,
as shown in the figure, and adjust so that sew-
ing slits A on the upper and lower templates are
aligned.
Affix exclusive template tape (36 mm wide) to
portions ❶ , ❷ , ❸ and ❹ as illustrated in the
figure.

To produce more beautiful seams, it is recom-
mended to firmly secure the material at the cor-
rect position by affixing sand tape, double-sided
adhesive tape, etc. on the slits of the upper and
lower templates or put positioning pins at appro-
priate locations in order to prevent the material
slippage.
