(2) Adjusting the bobbin thread tension
Turn tension adjusting screw ❺ clockwise (in

direction A) to increase or counterclockwise (in
direction B) to reduce the bobbin thread ten-
sion.
Recommended value: Approximately 25 g
The bobbin case will come down slowly by its
dead weight by holding it as illustrated in the
figure.

Select the sewing pattern thread tension for
which you want to set.

The tension can be set by pressing default ten-
sion B. Input any set value you desire and carry
out trial stitching.
Observing the stitches produced by trial stitch-
ing, confirm the appropriate tension set value.
