1 INSTALLATION

The Auto Sipper is an instrument that is incorporated in the sample

compartment section of the Model UH5300 Spectrophotometer to

measure the absorbance or permeability of samples. Sample liquid is

sipped through the peristaltic pump into the flow cell in the Auto

Sipper. The sipping amount of sample can be adjusted according to

the time of rotation of the peristaltic pump.

Fig. 1-1 shows an external view of the Auto Sipper.

(1) Service temperature:

For measurement in the most stable conditions, it is

recommended to install the instrument in a room which is

air-conditioned at 20 to 25°C.

(2) Service humidity:

(Condensation is not allowed. Where the ambient temperature is

30°C or more, control the relative humidity to 70% RH or below.)

(3) Storage temperature: -20 to 60°C

(4) Storage humidity:

1 - 1

15 to 35°C

25 to 80% RH

5 to 95% RH
