Turn the lever retainer
lowering the lever for
eased engaging.

(4) Turn the lever counterclockwise until it makes contact with the
peristaltic tube.

(5) To fix the lever, turn the lever retainer counterclockwise while
maintaining contact between the lever and the peristaltic tube.
The lever retainer can be locked by turning it until it clicks.

NOTE: If the lever is not retained by the lever retainer, sample fluid
is not allowed to flow because the tube will not move
peristaltically. Confirm that the lever retainer is locked
securely.
