Installing a new location configuration

The software HardBoot view enables you to administrate several locations. Each
location can contain any number of HardBoot systems.
Before the software can be applied to switch the power outlets, a location and the
installed HardBoot system have to be set up.
How to establish a new location configuration:
1. Click the entry New location (Neuer Standort) in the File (Datei) menu .
2. Choose any Name of location (Namen des Standorts) in the field File name
(Dateiname) and click on the Save (Speichern) button.
3. The following dialogue asks you to enter a User password (Benutzer-Passwort).
Enter your desired password and click the OK button.
4. Enter the Administrator password (Verwalter-Passwort) and repeat it in the row
below. Click the OK button.
The HardBoot view software differentiates between the user and the administrator
password:
The user password is queried during the start of the program. Only after the user
password has been entered correctly, it is possible to switch the power outlets.
It is necessary to enter a administrator password if changes in the HardBoot confi-
gruation or in the grouping are carried out.
