Combustion head adjustment

The air damper servomotor, in addition to varying the air flow rate
according to the output demand, through a leverage mechanism
varies the combustion head adjustment.
This system allows an optimum adjustment also at the minimum
firing rate.
Similarly to the servomotor rotation, it is possible to vary the
opening of the combustion head moving the tie-rod (Fig. 21) on
the holes 1-2-3.

Installation
The selection of the hole (1-2-3) to be used is determined by the
diagram (Fig. 22) based on the maximum output requested. In
the factory, the hole is adjusted for the maximum stroke (hole 3).
In the event that, in boilers with high back pressure, also with the
damper completely open, the air output is not enough, it is possi-
ble to carry out a calibration different to the one indicated by the
diagram Fig. 22, moving the tie-rod to the next numerically higher
hole, thereby increasing the opening of the combustion head and
therefore the air flow rate.
