Cause

The handset of the telephone or
extension phone is off hook.

You tried to make color copies with
a BC-20 Black BJ Cartridge
installed.
You received a color fax with a
BC-20 Black or BC-22e Photo BJ
Cartridge installed.

You tried to make black & white
copies with a BC-22e Photo BJ
Cartridge installed.
Action
Place the handset properly in its cradle.
Remove the BC-20 Black BJ Cartridge
and install the BC-21e Color or BC-22e
