7. Functional description

The code lock can be used for access recognition at entrance doors, as a controller for
doors and garage door motors, and in many other applications.
The wide operating temperature range (-40 to +85 °C) also allows the device to be used
in waterproof outdoor areas.
You use the keypad to program the code lock to suit your personal needs. For example,
you can program up to 100 user codes (4 - 8 digits) for output 1 and up to 10 user codes
(4 - 8 digits) for each of the outputs 2 and 3. You can allow each relay to remain on for
a programmed period of time, or explicitly open / close the relay with the user code.
Various security and entrance programming options are also available.

8. Initial operation

a) General

To ensure proper setup and operation, please read the operating instructions
and safety instructions carefully before using the device.
When selecting an installation location for your code lock, make sure it is not
exposed to direct intense solar radiation, vibrations, dust, extreme heat and
cold or moisture.
The device must not be set up in the vicinity of other devices with strong mag-
netic fields.
Devices emitting a strong electrical field, such as mobile telephones, radio
transmitters and electric motors, must also be kept away from the code lock.
This may adversely affect the functioning of the device.
Do not drill or turn any additional screws into the casing to mount the device.
This could lead to contact with dangerous voltages.
Be sure to follow the safety instructions of the tool manufacturer when using
tools to install your device.
