2. Symbols

This symbol, with an exclamation mark in a triangle, indicates particular dan-
gers associated with handling, function or operation.
The "arrow" symbol indicates special tips and operating information.

3. Intended use

The code lock is designed to control door openers, garage door motors etc., and for
monitoring and access recognition at entrance doors.
Use is only permitted in protected outdoor areas. Avoid direct contact with moisture.
This product is only approved for use with AC/DC voltages of 12 to 24 volts.
The maximum switching power of the "Output 1" relay must not exceed 30 V/DC, 5 A,
and that of the "Output 2" relay must not exceed 30 V/DC, 1 A.
The "NPN-Open-Collector" outputs must not be loaded with more than 100 mA and
24 V/DC.
The code lock has a sabotage contact (tamper switch) that recognises opening of the
housing and can be used to activate an alarm system.
Uses other than those described above are not permitted and may damage the product.
Misuse may also lead to risks such as short circuiting, fire, electrical shocks.
No part of the product may be modified or converted.
The safety instructions must be observed.
