it is a unique max. 13digit numerical code by which the Account Item number is
defined. Calling is subsequently done under this number, when registering in the
REG-mode. When linking BCR (bar code reader), this code can be read and need
not to be entered manually. The codes starting with 28,29, 21,27, 25,26 are of
special nature. The Cash Register supports the following bar code formats: EAN-8,
EAN-13 (including weight), UPC-A, UPC-E. The EAN-13 code with prefix 28,29 is
programmed into the Cash Register as a code: 28KKKKX000000, where KKKK=
code of goods. It is obviously possible to combine bar codes with own codes (e.g.
1,2,67,897,3344, etc.) in the Cash Register.
