Precautions for Reading Instructions and Online Help

When using ScanRouter V2 Lite/Professional with NIC FAX, some specifica-
tions differ from those described in the ScanRouter V2 Lite Management Guide
stored in NIC FAX Unit CD-ROM and the Operating Instructions and Help are
provided with ScanRouter V2 Professional.
Specification differences are described below.
Function
Fax document NIC FAX forwards incoming faxes to ScanRouter V2
delivery setup Professional via the network, thus omit the procedure
described under "For a Device for Fax Delivery using
RS232" in the ScanRouter V2 Professional Setup Guide.
Fax document • You need to adjust the necessary settings of NIC
delivery

Sender's infor- Since NIC FAX cannot specify the sender when trans-
mation mitting the data using the Network Deliver Scanner
function, the sender's information is not included in the
mail header.
