2.8 Altos S205F Drive Enclosure
Device Addressing
Each enclosure has 16 drives. The SEL_ID of each drive is determined by the device slot (0-15) in
which it is installed and the address range setting, which is set by means of the Enclosure ID switch.
The Mode selection is also set on the Ops Panel (shown in
enclosure. The switch settings are as follows:
