28. Foredeck Seat Conversion

On the foredeck of your vessel, there is a single large backrest that can be adjusted for lounging in
multiple positions. When the backrests are stored in the flat position, the foredeck area provides
ample space for sunbathing.
The standard backrest allows adjustment in five different positions. To convert the backrest, simply lift
up on it. On the back side, you will see a support bracket that can be locked into four different
positions. Placing the support bracket in the first locking cleat will convert the backrest into a "Chaise
Lounge", while the other locking cleat will convert the backrest to a more upright seating.
As an option, your boat might be equipped with a gas assist backrest. To adjust, first, unlock the
backrest by rotating the latch located on the starboard aft corner. Next, simply pull the lever located
on the starboard side of the backrest. Release the lever when the desired position of the backrest is
achieved. To return the backrest to the a level position, pull the lever and push down on the backrest.
Make sure to lock the backrest when at a level position to minimize the risk of it accidently coming up
and blocking the view from the helm.
Visibility from the helm is limited when the foredeck
backrests are in either the "Chaise Lounge" or upright seat
position. Do not operate the boat at high speeds when
people are using the foredeck area.
