RS-232 serial line connection using three wires

An RS-232 serial line connection using three (3) wires and NMEA datagrams is a common
way to connect the ES80 to external devices.

by the installation shipyard. Note that this cable does not
support all the signals in the standard RS-232 specification.

If you need to install a very long cable, increase the cross section.
