Installation Tools
1. Electric drill: ¢6mm or above
2. Cross head screwdriver
3. Hex socket sleeve (used for mounting 4.8 × 20 mm self-tapping screw)

Warning
* The radio operates with a power supply of 13.6 ± 15％V negative grounding only. Please
check polarity and voltage prior to installing the radio.
* Please check the extending length of the screws from the vehicle surface, prior to
installing the radio. Please pay high attention not to damage the wire and parts of the
vehicle when drilling mounting grommet.
* Please connect the supplied antenna and power cable to the radio, prior to installing the
radio on the bracket.
* Please use the mounting bracket supplied by HYT, to avoid radio loosen in case of
accidents, which may cause injury to your body.
* Please install the radio in a location where the user is easy accessible to the front panel
controls.
* Please make sure the location prior to drilling mounting grommet.
* Please make sure sufficient air space around it to allow for wiring.
* When substituting the fuse of the DC power cable, make sure to use fuse with the same
specification, fuse with higher capacity is prohibited.
