Installation, connection and commissioning

Choosing a suitable location

CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
The appliance is heavy and bulky. Im-
proper handling of the appliance may
result in injury.
Seek the help of another person dur-

ing transport, installation and assem-
bly.
If a trolley is used to move the appli-
■
ance, the appliance must be lifted as
shown on the packaging.
Remove all obstacles on the transport
■
route and at the installation location.
Open doors and clear away objects
lying on the fl oor.
The planned location must fulfil the following
prerequisites:
– The location must be a dry and frost-safe
room with a firm ground.
– In order to install the connection pipes, the
dishwasher must be positioned near to a
washing/dishwashing basin.

Setup

1. Remove cardboard, polystyrene and ad-
hesive strips from the inside of the dish-
washer, if you have not already done so.
2. Place the dishwasher in the desired posi-
tion.
3. To equalise unevenness in the floor and
set up the dishwasher on a level horizon-
tal base, you can screw the adjustable
feet in or out. The adjustable feet have
slots all around them. Insert a screwdriver
and use it to turn the adjustable foot.
Use a spirit level to set up the dishwasher.
Substructure
If you want to install your dishwasher under
a worktop, please note that the worktop must
be continuous and screwed to the cupboards
situated next to the dishwasher.
1. Unscrew the two screws on the back of
the covering panel.
2. Push the covering panel backwards and
remove it.

3. Affix the enclosed condensation-protec-
tive film (c) to the bottom of the worktop.
In this way, you will avoid damage to the
work surface as a result of hot steam
which may be emitted from the dishwash-
er if the dishwasher door is left open.
4. Position the dishwasher in the niche, as
described above.
