Option package contents

In addition to this book, the ServeRAID option package contains:
IBM Netfinity ServeRAID-3L Ultra2 SCSI Controller or
IBM Netfinity ServeRAID-3H Ultra2 SCSI Controller or
IBM Netfinity ServeRAID-3HB Ultra2 SCSI Controller with battery-backup write cache.
Attention:
Do not open the static-protective bag containing the controller until you are instructed to do so.

IBM ServeRAID Channel 3 Cable option kit
This cable comes with the ServeRAID-3H and ServeRAID-3HB controllers only. You can attach this
cable to the ServeRAID-3H controller or the ServeRAID-3HB controller to convert the internal SCSI
channel connector to an external connector. See "ServeRAID-3H and ServeRAID-3HB controller" on
page 13 for more information.
