Troubleshooting

1. Fix material roll tightly at material reel (2).
2. Adjust material guide (5) exactly to material width.
3. Align the position mark to the centre of the material.
Push the material brake (8) half way back, remove paper and even out
any creases in the material.
The paper you are using is too heavy.
Push the material brake half way back, remove the paper and check the
rubber rolls under the transport shaft for dust and dirt, clean them if
necessary.

3. Readjust label sensor
When using "high speed":
Select lower speed (2)
Depending on the thickness of the material used, a readjustment of the label
sensor (9) may be necessary.
Turn the adjustment screw (11) on the sensor cover gradually, when the
material brake is half turned and check function accordingly:
If automatic feed is not working, twist clockwise.
It automatic feed is working continuously, twist anticlockwise.
Check that the backing paper is not in contact with the material roll or the
unit, remove if necessary.
Release the automatic feed manually by pushing the material brake half way
back. Push the label sensor right, away from the material. Replace the
material brake and run the machine until the splice has passed. Then push
the material brake again, replace the sensor over the material centre and pull
the material brake forward. The next label will be dispensed correctly
automatically.
