– Drain the refrigerant circuit with the aid of the A/C service sta‐
tion.

Note
The different versions of the refrigerant lines are engine spe‐

cific. The attachment at the AC compressor is the same for all
versions.
After disconnecting, shut off the refrigerant lines and the con‐
♦
denser connection with suitable caps to protect them from the
penetration of ambient humidity.
5.5 Removing and installing the refrigerant
lines on the expansion valve
WARNING
If the refrigerant circuit is not opened within 10 minutes after
draining it off, pressure can arise in the refrigerant circuit due
to the post-evaporation.
Evacuate the refrigerant and then open the refrigerant circuit
immediately.
