Troubleshooting

Fault
SALt is shown on the
display.
Unit is not providing sof-
tened water or blended
water.
Unit is not providing
softened water or too
low a flow rate.
Dyed flushing water
during the start-up
If the fault cannot be rectified with this troubleshooting guide, our customer service team must be contac-
ted, providing information of the series and production number (see type label on the reverse of the unit).

Cause
Too little regenerating agent in
the supply cavity (5).
Pipe pressure too low, so
suction speed is too low.
No regenerating agent in the
supply cavity (5)
Power supply interrupted.
Adjusting spindle for blending
(V) not correctly set.
Primary pressure too low.
Abrasion particles of the ex-
changer resin.
Rectification
Refill the regenerating agent and press
OK until the SALt display disappears.
Confirm with OK.
If this occurs again, please consult custo-
mer service.
Refill the regenerating agent.
Wait 3 hours for the brine for form and
then run the regenerating process manu-
ally for both softening columns one after
the other.
Create an electrical connection.
Adjust as per the "Setting of the blended
water hardness" section in the start-up
instructions..
Increase primary pressure (adjust pres-
sure reducer if required) and activate
manual regeneration.
Repeat start-up flushing.
