13. Front cover assembly
a Check that the end corner and lip sliding
surface of the crankshaft are free from
flaw, burr, sharp fin, rust, etc.
a Do not apply oil, grease, etc. to the crank-
shaft and seal lip. Wipe off oil and grease
from the shaft.
1) Install cover (5) with mounting bolts (6).

3) Remove pilot tool [1] from the front oil
seal.
4) Install dust seal (9).
Push in the dust seal until it touches

the oil seal.
14. Rear oil seal
1) Press fit oil seal (2) to seal housing (1).
