3.4 Operation in music mode

To control the NEWMOON through the microphone, there must be no DMX signal control, DMX INPUT jack.
• To set the mode music is necessary to position the DIP switch [9] to "ON" and [10] to "OFF".
• Setting the DIP-switch [1] to "ON", you can enable the detection of music signal every five seconds. Or, by
setting the DIP-switch [1] to "OFF", you can enable the continuous recording of the musical signal.

3.5 Master/Slave mode

This mode allows you to connect multiple units NEWMOON online without a controller. The first unit will be
set as master and the other will work as a slave with the same effect.
• To set the units as SLAVE, position the DIP-switch [10] to "ON".
• Use standard DMX cable to daisy chain your units together via the DMX connector on the rear of the
units. For longer cable runs we suggest a terminator at the last fixure (see page 9).
• Connetc the DMX OUT of the main unit with the DMX IN of the first secondary unit.
• Connect the DMX OUT of the first secondary drive with the DMX IN of the secondary drive etc..

3.6 Operation with DMX control

To operate the unit via DMX control to the table on pag.11, which shows the functions and values DMX. As
DMX interface, the unit has 3 poles XLR contacts.
• To set the DMX mode position the DIP-switch [10] to "ON".
• Through DIP-switch [1/9] you can select different DMX addresss.
