    - 2 - INSTALLAZIONE 2.1 Montaggio Il NEWMOON, grazie alle possibilità di fissaggio sulla staffa (fig.2), può essere montato anche capovolto, su una traversa. Per il fissaggio occorrono dei supporti robusti per il montaggio. L’area di collocazione deve avere una stabilità sufficiente e supportare almeno 10 volte il peso dell’unità.

    3.2 Impostazione dei DIP-switch Il NEWMOON dispone di un pannello di controllo base costituito da un modulo DIP-switch (fig.3). Ciascuno dei singoli switch dispone di un numero (DIP switch [1] a [10]).

    È possibile selezionare la velocità di esecuzione dei programmi pre-impostati, in ordine crescente, utilizzan- do i DIP-switch da [5] a [8]. NOTA - Nella modalità automatica il NEWMOON è impostato come unità principale (Master), mentre le altre saranno impostate come unità secondarie (Slave).

    • Per impostare l’unità come SLAVE, posizionare il DIP-switch [10] su “ON”. Fig.10 Modalità Slave • Servirsi dei connettori DMX del NEWMOON e di un cavo XLR per formare una catena di unità. In certe condizioni e lunghezze si consiglia di effettuare una terminazione come mostrato a pagina 11.

    NEWMOON GENERAL INFORMATION Shipments and claims The goods are sold “ex works” and always travel at the risk and danger of the distributor. Eventual damage will have to be claimed to the freight forwarder. Any claim for broken packs will have to be forwarded within 8 days from the reception of the goods.

    - 2 - INSTALLATION 2.1 Mounting NEWMOON can be fixed (as shown below) using the mounting bracket screws or using the dedicated light- ing support if mounted on a crossbeam. To align the light effect unit, release the locking screws (fig.2); ad- just the desired inclination of the unit, then retighten the screws.

    3.2 Setting of DIP-switch The NEWMOON has a basic control panel consists of a DIP-switch (fig.3) Each individual switch has a number (DIP-switch [1] to [10]).

    It can select the speed of execution of pre-set programs, in ascending order, using the DIP-switch from [5] to [8]. NOTE. in automatic mode the NEWMOON is set as the master unit (MASTER), while the other will be set as slave units (SLAVE)

    3.9 Adjusting the start address To able to operate the NEWMOON with a light controller, adjust the DMX start address for the first a DMX channel. If e. g. address 33 on the controller is provided for controlling the function of the first DMX chan- nel, adjust the start address 33 on the NEWMOON.
