DIGITAL INSTRUMENT (Ref. 3 - Picture 1 Page 3.) displays
the power source current or the following values temporarily:
Start message.
Software version.
Voltage on torch, pressing the key (Ref. 5 - Picture 1 Page 3.)
Air pressure, pressing the key (Ref. 6 - Picture 1 Page 3.) .
Type of alarm (ALARMS), see table 1.
Type of machine error (FAIL) , see table 2.

DIGITAL INSTRUMENT FUNCTION (Ref. 4 - Picture 1 Page
3.) The LED on corresponds to the value shown on the dis-
play:
Volt.
Amper.
Bar.

CURRENT VOLTAGE KEY Press the key (Ref. 5 - Picture 1
Page 3.) to display (Ref. 3 - Picture 1 Page 3.) the voltage
present on the torch. The display of voltage is temporary.

AIR FUNCTION KEY
Press the key (Ref. 6 - Picture 1 Page 3.) to activate the ma-
chine air system for a fixed interval, with display of work pres-
sure.

CURRENT ADJUSTMENT KNOB
Used for adjusting the cutting current (Ref. 7 - Picture 1 Page
3.)

START SWITCH (Ref. 8 - Picture 2 Page 3.)
This switch has 2 positions On (Green light on) or Off, for
switching the power source on or off.

FILTER
Clean in according to scheduled maintennance instructions
(Ref. 9 - Picture 2 Page 3.).

USE INSTRUCTIONS

1.
Connect the power source in a dry place with suitable venti-
lation.
2.
Press the On switch (Ref. 8 - Picture 1 Page 3.) and wait for
the power source to start.
3.
Position the earth clamp on the piece to be cut, ensuring
good electrical contact.

Select the cutting current with the knob (Ref. 7 - Picture 1
Page 3.) following the data given in the table below
5.
Approach the piece to be cut, press the torch button and be-
gin cutting.

RESETTING
Make sure that the cap is properly inserted. Switch the power source off and then on again.

COMMON CUTTING DEFECTS.

Trouble shooting for arc cutting operations:
Insufficient cutting quality.

Cutting speed too fast.
2.
Not enough power.
3.
Excessive material thickness.
4.
Torch components damaged or worn.
Main arc goes off.
1.
Cutting speed too slow.
2.
Nozzle too distant from workpiece.
Slag formation.
1.
Wrong gas pressure.
2.
Wrong cutting power.
Burned nozzle.
1.
Current too high.
2.
Nozzle damaged or loose.
3.
Nozzle touching the workpiece
4.
Excessive slag: low gas plasma pressure.

TROUBLESHOOTING
After starting, the power source may show operational errors on
the display (Ref. 3 - Picture 1 Page 3.), as shown in the table be-
low TABLE 2.). These errors can be remedied or are irreversible.

MAINTENANCE

CAUTION: DISCONNECT THE EQUIPMENT FROM THE ELEC-
TRICITY MAINS BEFORE DOING ANY MAINTENANCE
WORK.

MAINTENANCE OF THE EQUIPMENT

Twice a year, depending on the degree of use of the unit, inspect:
- The cleanliness of the equipment
- The electrical and gas connections
- The air filter.
For all operations:
- Remove the equipment cover.
